Like most people Tanya took her first yoga class 10 years ago to help with flexibility and add another form of exercise to her routine. Little did she know that after her first class she would be hooked and one day hear the calling to become a yoga teacher.

That call to deepen her practice came in 2013 after a breast cancer diagnosis. During this stressful time her practice was the one thing that kept her mind from wandering to all the what if's. Tanya's practice had become a tool where she was able to connect to her mind, body and spirit.

In 2014 Tanya completed her first 200 hour teacher training with Yahweh Yoga in Chandler Az. This experience allowed for personal growth in her practice but Tanya wasn't quite ready to teach. In 2015 she finished an additional 200 hour certification with Hot Yoga for Life and began to share the beauty of yoga with her students.

When Tanya is not teaching yoga she loves to spend time with her family, cook vegan/vegetarian meals and travel the world. Tanya has been cancer free since 2014!

“Yoga is not about becoming perfect, it’s about becoming whole – uniting mind, body, heart and spirit to live life to the fullest.”
