Monica Walker

Nutritionist & Wellness Program Director

Monica is passionate about using delicious, clean foods to fuel a healthy lifestyle. She brings this enthusiasm into helping others improve their diets and reach their goals. Whether it’s a specific athletic achievement, weight management, or dietary changes out of medical necessity, Monica will work with you to optimize your food choices and help you enjoy eating well.

Although she has always had a desire to eat well, Monica had to learn to bake gluten-free and dairy-free when all of her children were diagnosed with Celiac Disease (and one with Type 1 Diabetes) 14 years ago. Other allergies and medical diets have followed, so she took a positive approach and learned all she could to help her family thrive.

Monica earned her B.S. in Nutrition Science, is a Sports Nutrition Specialist and Certified Corporate Wellness Coach. She has worked extensively with food allergies, gluten-free diets, Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and athletes.

An avid sports enthusiast, Monica spends most of her time with her three teenagers and their sports. She loves to practice yoga, work out, play volleyball and golf. She lives her life with passion and balance to enjoy faith, family, food and fun!

“I love helping people discover how simple it can be to improve their health through adding healthier foods. What you put in your body affects every aspect of your physical and mental wellness. There are so many benefits of eating real food and minimizing processed foods. I love the quote by Michael Pollan, ‘If it came from a plant, eat it; if it was made in a plant, don't.’“
