About 10 years ago Jill was a full-time working mom with a career, husband, three stepdaughters and infant twin boys. As is the case with most new mothers, she was stressed-out and sleep-deprived. Her first yoga experience involved a DVD player and a mat in her basement, super early in the morning before the babies woke for the day. That first class brought her an amazing sense of peace and focus and she knew she had found something special.

Now a slightly less-stressed-out mother of middle schoolers, Jill loves to help others find that sense of balance that comes from a consistent yoga practice. She loves to find a connection with her students and make yoga accessible and fun for all ages and ability levels. She teaches classes with movement, breath work, fun flows and poses that encourage us to tap into our inner strength, be more mindful, connect to our bodies and love and care for ourselves, not just physically, but in all aspects of our lives.

A recent transplant from Michigan, Jill taught Hatha and Vinyasa classes at her studio, Flow Yoga in Plainwell, MI, for the past five years. She also taught Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) yoga on various lakes in the area. Jill loves being outdoors and in addition to yoga, consider hiking, cycling, SUP and kayaking to be forms of moving meditation. She is excited to explore everything that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Jill is a registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance and has her 200hr certification through Yogafit, as well as a Lazy Dog Paddle Yoga Certification
