Amarylis Morrow

Prenatal Yoga, Hatha

Amarylis is a yogini and a mother. She believes the transition into motherhood is a wild and wondrous ride that can be aided by yoga in all forms: yoga postures, breathwork, meditation, mantra, and philosophy. She’s on a path to help women from pregnancy through motherhood bring vibrancy into their lives amidst the beautiful chaos children can bring.

Her classes and workshops are geared for the mother who’s never tried yoga, yet they still engage women who have years of experience. They serve a woman’s changing body, provide emotional well-being, give a sense of mama community (which is truly invaluable!), and provide tools for the sometimes tumultuous transition into motherhood after baby arrives. ?

Amarylis is a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT) with the Yoga Alliance and received her 85 hour prenatal certificate through the Bhaktishop in Portland, OR. After a transformative month living at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health she obtained her 200 hour teacher certification in 2009. She’s currently training in Ayurveda to incorporate this ancient wisdom for pregnant mamas and new mothers.

“The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new.”
